Why should your child see a pediatric otolaryngologist at Scott & White?

Pediatric otolaryngology specialists are specially trained to treat children. They work collaboratively with your child’s primary care physician or pediatrician to ensure your child has the best treatment plan to ensure his or her health.

If children need to be hospitalized, McLane Children’s Hospital Scott & White helps soothe children’s and parents’ anxieties through a family-centered approach to their care, where each child’s needs are the primary focus.

How do I get my child in to see a pediatric otolaryngology specialist?

Our specialists accept patients based upon physician referral. Physicians may call the Scott & White’s Physician Referral Network at 800-792-3368 or 254-724-2218 to refer a patient by phone.

If your child is a Scott & White Health Plan patient, you will be referred to a pediatric otolaryngologist if one of your child’s physicians believes a visit is necessary.

Some health plans may require a referral prior to seeing a pediatric otolaryngologist. Please contact your insurance company to learn about your child’s coverage.
