College Station Cardiology
Pediatric cardiology patients now have more options, more access
Two leading pediatric hospitals have joined forces to offer children expanded access to top-ranked cardiology services in College Station.
McLane Children’s Scott & White and
Texas Children’s Hospital cardiologists are partnering at the
Scott & White College Station Clinic. Patients now have access to appointments four days each month with pediatric cardiologists from both hospitals—two from McLane Children’s, Drs.
Judith Lazol and
John E. Pliska and Dr. Douglas Moodie from Texas Children's Hospital.
Expanding the pediatric cardiology services in College Station is the first collaboration between McLane Children’s Scott & White and Texas Children’s Hospital and a manifestation of the 20-year affiliation announced in 2011. The affiliation pairs Texas Children’s Hospital — ranked number three among the nation’s pediatric hospitals by
U.S. News & World Report for pediatric cardiology and heart surgery — with Scott & White, which is ranked in the Top 100 Hospitals by Thomson Reuters and is one of the nation’s largest and most recognized multi-specialty group practice health care systems.
This joint program cohesively serves the special cardiac needs of this growing and diverse population. Physicians who refer patients to the cardiologists here will receive timely feedback regarding the cardiac diagnosis and treatment of their patients.
Services offered include:
