How is adolescent medicine different at McLane Children's?

In addition to providing quality care for our patients, McLane Children's Adolescent Medicine Department is committed to research that will find ways to help teens manage their transition to adulthood. Upcoming projects include a Web-based health education program tailored to teens.

How do I get my child in to see an adolescent medicine specialist?

If you think your teen could benefit from seeing an adolescent medicine specialist, call 254-724-KIDS (5437) or toll free at 877-724-5437 to make an appointment.

If your child is a Scott & White Health Plan patient, there is no need for a referral. Some health plans may require a referral prior to seeing a specialist. Contact your insurance company to learn about your child’s coverage.
